"Aime went above and beyond for me. Not only did she meet her deadline, she took time to really summarize her comments in a separate document. She also compiled a series bible and sent a doc with my overused and crutch words.

This was extremely helpful and made my edits so much easier.

Not only was she an absolute delight to work with, she caught so many things that I had not thought of. I know my novels are going to be a step above the rest now because of her time and dedication. She's just the best. The End."

“If you’re an author looking for editor to provide that little bit extra, Aime is your gal.”

"Aime’s editing service is exemplary.

I came to Red Leaf with an extremely tight turnaround. Not only did Aime manage to squeeze me in, but she provided an incredible, thoughtful, and detailed editing service. And delivered the books back to me in time for my crazy deadlines.

Her comments and suggestions helped to take my stories to the next level, provided insight where I’d perhaps not built out the world building or details and of course help me make them error free.

If you’re an author looking for editor to provide that little bit extra, Aime is your gal. Highly recommended."

"Working with Aime was one of the best things that happened to my book.

She understood my author voice and especially my characters’ voices from the get-go. Her edits were so good, they truly brought out the best of each line.

Aime lived for the story and the characters and that made her edits so special. Besides, she is a wonderful person, and I’m proud to have her on my team. The editor/author relationship we have is yet another thing I’ll be forever thankful for.

Thank you so much again, Aime!"

"Writing can be a lonely journey.

Plotting, writing, editing, re-writing, re-editing draft after draft, it’s difficult to know when to stop and consider the next step to achieve the goal of self or traditional publication.

After completing my seventh draft, uncertain of what my novel needed, I asked Aime for a Manuscript Evaluation which she completed within the timescale she had advised. I was very impressed with her critique letter and detailed notations throughout the manuscript. By highlighting the positives as well as the areas in need of further work, she gave me the confidence to keep moving forward.

Her friendly approach and professionalism are invaluable, and I will continue to seek out her help to complete my first novel and future books in the series.

I have no hesitation highly recommending Aime’s excellent services."

"I’m so grateful for having Aime help me cultivate my story. Not only is she a brilliant editor, but she truly is the Narrative Gardener!

Her detailed notes, suggestions, and encouragement are invaluable and make all the difference from struggling through another draft and self-edit, to feeling more confident and finally being able to envisage finishing the book I intended to write.

Communication is always responsive, friendly, and helpful. It is a joy to work with Aime, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and engage her services again."

"Aime is supportive, collaborative, and encouraging as an editor. Everything you need in an editor. She is also skillful and knowledgeable, which is what you want in an editor. When you hand over your project to an editor, you’re handing over something that you’ve poured your blood, sweat, and tears into. Aime is respectful of that. She honors that. She is someone you can work with for more than one project.

After getting back her edits, I felt confident in my writing and motivated to finish my project. She helped me make it better. I plan on using her services again."

Aime helped me out of a bind when my usual proofreader had a family emergency. I am so thankful I found her and that she was willing to step in at the last minute. The work she did was amazing! "As a writer who cares about my book, I am all about perfection. I know that I want a manuscript that is as clean as possible, from every angle. Though, even being a perfectionist, I couldn't catch all the errors. I entrusted my book baby to Aime, and she was absolutely fantastic. From the quick turn around on the book to the comments she provided, I am sure that I have now got as close to perfection as I can. Aime's eagle eye picked up on little mistakes that I kept glossing over, and her level of research, to ensure everything was correct, was phenomenal. Would I use Aime's proofreading service again? Most definitely."~

"The hardest thing about being a writer is knowing your limitations, where you’ve gone wrong and what doesn’t work in the eye of the reader. What makes it even more challenging is when you’re writing for an audience that uses the same language but slightly differently.

Through a Facebook page that we both use, I discovered Aime while seeking a Critique Partner. Initially it was for a couple of chapters though after her feedback, I asked her to continue being my CP for the whole book. Being British, there are certain phrases and terms that are completely different when writing for an American market and Aime helped by pointing these out. She also identified spelling issues and areas that didn’t flow well or seemed disjointed, highlighting them in a constructive and informative manner in addition to general feedback on the rest of the story.

For anyone looking to identify issues, fix and improve their manuscript, having Aime as their Critique Partner would be a godsend and would help to make any story complete. I highly recommend Aime and wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again in the future." ~
